The UHT process requires a sterilization unit and a sterile unit (for packaging products), and Tetra Pak UHT is used for products with low acid (PH above 4.6) UHT milk, UHT cream, soy milk and other dairy products. The same processing method is also used to sterilize prepared foods, soups, flavorful juices, desserts, tomatoes and fruit preproducts.
